Three days ago you turned months old.
Things I want to remember:
You started sucking your fingers at 3 months old and stopped at 7 months old (just like your sister Brooklyn) Sometimes I wish you still sucked those things. It was so darn cute and you would lay down so much easier. But at the same time I am glad you aren't addicted to them and it is so much easier for me when you stop on your own. I love that about it.
You started the army crawl at 7 months old. You are getting pretty quick. You know lots of words, but don't really know how to tell use yet that you know them. I can say where is my nose, and you will look at my nose and I can say where are my eyes and you look at them and my mouth and chin too. You are starting to learn how to speak lots of sounds like dadada and babab and your most recent favorite is nanana. On occasion you say mamama. We like playing games together, like finding words that start with D, whenever I hear you say dadadad. Like the other day you were saying it while I changed your diaper, and when I was done we went around to all the bed room doors and I taught you the word door. We opened and closed the door and you touched the knob and patted the door with your hand. That is how you tell me you understand something or you like it. You reach out with your hand and pat it. It is my favorite when I tell you something new and you tap my face. Then I know you really got it!
You have a hard time taking your 9 o'clock nap lately, and usually end up taking one at 11 or so. You still wake up around 10 or 11 pm and 4 am, but you go to bed around 6 or 7 pm. Now that you are 8 months old I need you to sleep through the night please. Could you do that for me? I do like however that you are my 4 or 5 am wake up call. There is no chance I would be getting up on my own otherwise.
